Tra(n)sformazione I e II
Two materials, far apart, coexist within the same shape
Tra(n)sformazione plays on the etymology of transformation: trans, beyond; form, to give shape. Beyond the form. Thin porcelain leaves chase each other and intertwine with metal threads, changing colour and matter to witness their metamorphosis. Two materials apparently distant in properties and aesthetics coexist in one form: as in the human soul, a duality, an opposition that often reaches fullness in its balance.
