About

Angelica Lucchetti · Contemporary artist | Teacher Contemporary artist | Teacher

I trained as an engineer. I worked with machines, numbers, acoustics. Something essential was missing: research, creativity, meaning, the human dimension. In 2017, illness interrupted the life I had been living. In that process of rupture and reconstruction, clay and mindfulness arrived as necessities, one after the other. Both asked the same thing: to sit with experience rather than resolve it. I left industry in search of an identity that could finally express itself: through art, through teaching. In 2021 I earned a Ceramics Diploma at the Ballardini Institute in Faenza. My artistic practice continues alongside my work as a special education and disability teacher.

For me, my artistic research is much more than a set of techniques. It's a profound need of the soul.
